Polygroup - My Experience
Last year I purchased a beautiful 7 1/2 tree. My tree quickly turned into one of my favorite part of Christmas.
Christmas is my favorite part of the year. While some may call me crazy, I put up my decorations the first week of November. This year when I got my tree out, the top part of the tree would not light up. I called Poly Group to see if my whole tree could be replaced or just the top.
I was advised to email a copy of my receipt and an order for a new tree top will be placed. I emailed my receipt, waited about an hour and called back to see if email was recieved. It had not. I was then told to allow 24 hours for an email to be recieved.
While I thought that is odd, considering I send emails daily, I waited till the next day. When I called to check status my email still had not been recieved so I sent it again. Same story the next day....no one recieved my email. I finally was able to speak to a supervisor who sent me an email so I could attach my receipt and reply.
Which I did. Again, I called the next day, the email still had not been recieved. I pulled up my sent email advised of the exact time and date it was sent and reminded her that I replied to the email there is no way it couldn't have been recieved. Surprise...the email magically appeared.
I then held for over 45 minutes to have the supervisor come on the phone to tell me that is not one of their trees. Really? I bought it at Hobby Lobby, Holy group is the only seller they use. After speaking with Hobby Lobby Store Mgr.
the conclusion was made that it is a Polygroup tree. My resolution? They will send me lights for now and I will get a new tree top with in a year. Hopefully before Christmas season!
This is n acceptable and no way to run a business. As I told the supervisor, I will make it my personal mission that NO ONE EVER will have to experience the poor, poor way they do business. I have posted my thoughts on social media and will continue to share my experience as much as I can. Oh, did I mention I paid almost $500.00?
It was what I thought was a good investment. It lasted two months.
