DO NOT BUY THESE POOLS!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We bought a pool in the summer of 2016 from Big Lots. Took it home, filled it up, it leaked all over the ground. Called polygroup, had to cut out the side of the pool and take a photo. Waste of time, and water. Received a replacement liner, two weeks later, the pump casing cracked got a new pump. By the time all this was done, the pool was up for two weeks. We put it away, and tried it again this June. Guess what? Filled it up, and it started leaking in 3 places!!! Called polygroup, no apologies, no explanation- well send another liner, oh wait, we are out of them until spring of 2019. So, well send you an extension pole kit, and a larger liner. Get the liner and pole kit on Saturday, the one t bracket is too big. We pry the pin wider and make it fit, and hope the pool will hod. Ok, we fill it with water, all 1200 gallons on Saturday. Sunday afternoon, the ground is once again covered with water. The pool was place on a canvas dropcloth, smooth concrete under that- no reason for a leak. Yet, 4 liners later... These pools are junk, the company that makes them should be put out of business- dont waste your money, water or time....were sorry we gave them more than one chance....

Received defective product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a pool game which was defective and they would not do anything for me. They said there is no warranty on the item.

However I should not have needed a warranty it was defective when they packaged it. They didn't offer a replacement, money back, nothing at all. If a company doesn't stand by their product then my opinion is they should not be in business. Maybe they should quality check products for they package them.

Also the disinterest of the person I spoke with was appalling. I have never heard of a company not standing by their product.

All I was expecting was a replacement and I would even send the defective one back if need be. They said there is nothing they can do.

Dear Valued Consumer, We apologize for the disappointment with your purchased pool game, and for your dissatisfying telephone call to Polygroup. If you are seeking an exchange or refund please speak with the retailer who sold you the game.

We at Polygroup provide warranty service for specific items our retail partners select for, and pay for, warranty coverage.

In this case the game you purchased does not have a Polygroup warranty, meaning the retailer has assumed responsibility for the product. Best Regards, Polygroup Support Team

They don't care if the pump does not work!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a pool at Walmart and brought it home. Filled it up with 2,250.00 gals of water and tried to turn on the filter. It did not work. I called Polygroup and they said that it was obviously defective and that it would be about 10 business days before I got a new one. They said I had to first cut the cord on it and take a picture. Then dispose of it. i sent them the picture and a copy of the receipt. About 10 days later I got a pump that did not belong to this pool despite my careful discussion with all of the pertinent details to the warranty department. Then I called this week on Wednesday only to be told that i should have kept parts of the pump component--although no one told me to. They said to trash it. They said that IF I WANTED a different pump (like the one they should have sent) then I would have to pay for parts of it! Really? Then they said that a manager would call me back. Did they? NO. Today I went through the same dialogue with them and got no where. So i called Walmart and they said that pools are being handled by the manufacturer. They said that they would call me back within an hour and they did not! No one calls back. I am stuck right now with a pool that is going nasty that cost me money in the purchase, in the water-sewer charges, and I cannot swim in it! I wish I could add a photo but I am on my computer and don't know how to do it. Just imagine 2.250 gal of water going murky--The link I put in was for the same pool, but in this case it was being sold by Walmart, not ebay

Terrible Experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased this exact same pool last year and suffered the same issue. As it was late in the season and I figured a defect I disposed of the pool and bought a new this year.

Much to my disbelief AND disgust, the same problem has happened a month after purchase...... 1 month.. your team advised they would be sending a replacement part, which I was happy to hear. However, I have not received the part nor an update as to where my part is.

Every day I wait for this part, my pool gets nastier and less desirable to be in.

Unless this part gets hear within a day or two, my expectations will be a full replacement of the pool as mine will no longer be enjoyable. At this time I will be sharing my dissatisfaction with anyone looking to purchase from your company.

Pump is to small for the pool and you ppl know this. I will be empting water for the 3rd time and cleaning pool just so my granddaughter can use it til end of summer. Dont buy this pool ppl. Filter to small and dont clean it. My neighbor has same kinda pool but hers is 12×30 and does the same as mine. Always greenish. Very disappointed.

Not in stock* not style! I was so dissapointed I spelled the wrong word!

I just wanted to say we used this pool a lot, the Grandbabies and us!

Now I'm going to go buy from another company because my money spends anywhere and it won't be with you. The customer service was not good either!

Ordered a pump and paid for it. Never received pump. I called and she said they should have never let me order it cause it's out of style and won't be getting More in and she will refund my money! I'm still waiting for my money. I'm going to do a dispute through my bank and have it investigated. Don't buy from them! They lie to you! Not happy!

Dear Valued Consumer, We understand and acknowledge the frustration and disappointment failed pool components can cause. The limited warranty on Polygroup pumps has a specific duration, 180 days from date of purchase.

If a pump fails near the warranty deadline we can be flexible and will work with a consumer for a good resolution. But warranty coverage eventually ends. Please feel free to contact us directly if you believe we misinterpreted your warranty claim, or if you have any other questions.

The F1500C pump is available on line for $113.99 or less. Best Regards, Polygroup Support Team

Pump issues and they could care less

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Turned off the pump today to change the filter on the pool and the pump didn't start back. Just sat there and made a humming noise like it was locked up or something.

Called and they asked how long I was running the pump, and I told the all the time, that I didn't turn it off except to change the filter. Then they tried to claim I was running it too much, and that the pump couldn't handle that much run time. I asked what exactly is the duty cycle rating of the pump (50% on then 50% off for a 50% duty cycle or what?) They couldn't tell me. I asked where in the pump manual that came with the product does it say not to run it all the time, and the couldn't tell that either (because it doesn't say that anywhere in the manual).

So how can they say I'm running the pump too much, when it doesn't even suggest the amount of time to run the pump nor doesn't say to not run it at 100% duty cycle. They seem to be making up rules as they go, even if it says nothing about it in the manual. PolyGroup is out to make a quick buck with these poor quality products.

Safety might even be a concern with their products. We had a place in the brand new liner that had a thin spot that could bust out under pressure and take a person for a water ride when the pool burst.

Poor pump design and product

I have great news for everyone that has problems with the F2000C pump. You can purchase a 633 or 637 for around $40 and leave the old pump on the canister, unplug the f2000c pump and tie in a 633 or 637 ground pump. This pump uses the same filter a/c but sits on the...

I have now within less than a years time purchased 2 pumps model f2000c. This is a poorly designed pump and the warranty sucks.

They (polygroup) have a 6 month manufacturer's warranty. Polygroup is the manufacturer of this pump and i feel that they not wanting to resolve this problem with their design is a way to "Get rich off the consumer".

I have spent around $400.00 in less than a year for 2 pumps that combined did not wven give me 6 months of use. I have deemed my next course of action is with the better business bureau and a lawyer.
Sincerely,

Dear Valued Consumer, Thank you for telling us about your experience. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment.

If your pool kit was missing parts when you purchased the pool, you can alert your retailer or contact Polygroup to receive the missing parts. Leaks from a filter canister usually can be stopped by lubricating gaskets & o-rings and replacing damaged or misshaped canister components. A valid proof of purchase is the only documentation required for warranty replacement of these parts.

Please contact Polygroup directly to explore warranty options for your filter canister. Best Regards, Polygroup Support Team

Customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We have a defective pump that leaks water when the pump is full. We contacted the company for a replacement and their policy is a cut the electrical cord prior to sending the a replacement. I spoke with Ken the supervisor and he too couldn’t have enough common sense to understand why that wouldn’t work.
